Honey Creek Golf Club has designated new tee boxes for children under the age of 10 who want to play and enjoy the game of golf.

The new tee boxes are part of Honey Creek’s Lil’ Linksters Junior Golf Program. “These tee boxes are placed at shorter, realistic yardages that give young junior golfers a chance to par or even birdie the golf holes,” said Jennifer Owens, General Manager. “Now children can make it on the green in two shots and two putt to make a par. Juniors can keep track of their own score on a Lil’ Linksters score card. This positive feedback encourages kids to improve,” added Ms. Owens.

Honey Creek Golf Club established the Lil’ Linksters program in a continuous effort to promote junior golf development including etiquette, sportsmanship and game improvement.
